You will now be able to enjoy a wide variety of camp menus with our optional Icy Cold Pack™ inserts that keep canned drinks, perishables and even fresh trout icy, icy cold for several days, believe it or not! Each insert is quality crafted using insulation materials which follow the strictest quality control specifications. Each saddle pack is adaptable to hold either one or two inserts, depending upon your trail riding needs. Inserts use "Blue Ice" to keep cold in, or for your late fall rides, keep "Blue Ice" out to prevent supplies and cameras from winter freeze-ups. Also great for your winter snowmobile trips. Optional Icy Cold Pack™ inserts by Rocking Seneca® really work. You won't be disappointed!
Both saddle pack models in ROOMY and MID SIZED are uniquely fitted for carrying over your shoulder when needed (man portable). This pack will
hold enough for one person for a five to six day pack trip! What you carry, of
course, will depend on your personal taste; the condition of your horse; the
combined weight of saddle, pack and rider and the length of the
trip.
Group A Food and cooking supplies packed in three large side compartments. One of the compartments is slightly larger than the other one. A mess kit for two fits perfectly into one of the other larger compartments.
Group B The four
smaller, zippered pockets on the ends of the four side compartments provide
quick and easy access to camera, first-aid kit, shells, leg hobbles, survival
kit, C.B, or personal items.
Group C The convertible top of the saddle pack may be used in a variety of ways.
1. For packing a down
sleeping bag, clothing, a rain jacket, trail maps, and cooking and survival
booklets.
2. For carrying a small,
lightweight (3 pound) rubber canoe, a rain jacket and trail maps.
3. For packing hunting
articles, a spotting scope or binoculars, fishing tackle, clothing, a rain
jacket, and trail maps.
Group D- Two elastic stretch
loops on each side of the saddle pack under the tie-down flaps holding a fishing
pole case, tent poles, or a boat paddle. The double-zippered lids under the
flaps make handy shelves for chaps, a fishing vest, or jacket.
