TESTIMONIAL January 23, 2008 Just wanted to drop you a line regarding your Rocking Seneca, "Packin' it Easy" saddle pack I have been using (and abusing) since the early 1980's. I have tried this great product of yours on behind numerous different saddle mounts of mine, both horses and mules for many years. This particular pack has traveled with me through the wildest backcountry our Great American West has to offer. From fishing trips into Bob Marshall Wilderness in Northern Montana, to hunting desert sheep in the great wilderness of the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in the rugged Sonoran deserts of Southern Arizona, it has served me well. I have relied on my Rocking Seneca in the wilderness of Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Wyoming, to mention a few. As a licensed Alaskan Guide I have even used it lashed across the seat of my snowmobile while guiding for spring grizzly and wolves in the arctic, North of Nome, Alaska. I use it on my snowmobile here at my ranch in Idaho as well. The fact that you good folks are lifelong horsemen yourselves really shows through in the great features of my saddle pack. My Rocking Seneca is so well designed for weight distribution without flopping or bouncing coupled with the removable washable fleece blanket for a saddle mount's comfort, it has never soared a horse or mule of mine in any way. This includes trips of hundreds of miles and several weeks' duration on and off the trails. My Rocking Seneca is so roomy and well built, by utilizing lightweight backpack type camping gear and food, more times than I can count I have packed in for five day elk hunts with only my saddle horse, leaving my pack mule behind until is was time to pack out my elk. The attention to detail in construction and the strength of all the components from the heavy duty water resistant real Cordura fabric to the thread and the heavy duty zippers, pays real dividends to the active horsemen that really uses his equipment. This is truly the kind of quality one expects to enjoy in a product that is 100% MADE IN THE USA! The many compartments that come as standard issue on the Rocking Seneca are perfect for organizing a fellas "possibles" that really reduces the hassle factor of keeping track of small items. The roomy insulated "Icy Cold Pack" area is great for keeping drinks cold, or even foods frozen for a number of days. This feature also provides great padded real protection for expensive optics such as cameras, camcorders, binoculars or spotting scopes. I am never at a loss to locate my water bottle, maps or flashlights, when I need them most. (Like when I am thirsty and lost in the dark!) There are even pockets for cell phones, wallets or the keys to your pickup parked back on the trailhead. Many times while traveling off-trail and through heavy cover in pursuit of big game, I have had occasion to have my saddle strings jerked out of my saddle. But my Rocking Seneca never ripped or failed. Before I discovered my Rocking Seneca, I had used about everything else available for saddlebags that are out there on the market. From surplus canvas, US Cavalry three-buckle leather, custom-made leather, and the competitor's nylon styles. Nothing else out there has the features for both horse and rider and provided the durability over the years as my Rocking Seneca, Packin' it Easy Saddle Pack! Thanx Wayne for a great product.
